Bedford Borough Council is currently reviewing the Social Housing Allocations Scheme.
This scheme is a vital document which sets out how applicants are assessed when they approach the council for housing. It also identifies the housing legislation the council has to adhere to.
It is good practice to review the scheme regularly and it was last updated in April 2021.
